HOUSE OF POSSIBLES

2022 /23

The series will continue with the same method as for ‘Home Plot’. The original stencils will still be used to generate new images. However, the previously emploied transparent templates have been added as a collage. These show traces of spray and brushstrokes. I am interested in the resulting complex spaces, in which the individual temporal moments of the process are involved. Traces of work from earlier moments on the stencils mix with the current moments of the series ‘House of Possibles’. The context of displacement in the situation regarding refugee crisis continues to exist. I will keep working on the series until the precarious situation has fundamentally improved.
