2012–2013
Pictures taken at the 2 km long circuit of the Autodromo Nacional in Sitges, south of Barcelona. It was built in 1922, but was hardly used after only 3 years, as the facility was not economically viable and soon no longer met the requirements of newer car racing circuits. Thanks to the high-quality construction, the decay of the facility is limited. However, nature is breaking in at the edges and in the cracks. I am interested in the difference between the speed of the racetrack's plastic form and the steady slowness of nature.
