CUT ON FIRE
Neue Kunsthalle Zurich, Pfingstweidbrache, 2016
On 5.2.2016, two identical piles of wood were set on fire at the same time: Every month, the Neue Kunsthalle Zurich makes a full container of old construction timber available to the artists on the Pfingstweid wasteland. The entire amount of wood was cut in half piece by piece and simultaneously piled up into two identical stacks in order to set them on fire simultaneously.
