This project grew out of the symposium 'why this world'. The title originates from the writings of Clarice Lispector (1920-77). Her texts were the inspiration and source for conversations during our symposium. - I was interested in bringing together two different producers: the gallery owner, who also owns a supermarket chain, and myself as an invited guest. 'Equation of Loss' is a reactivation of identical objects from the company's storage space. - If there is a solution to the equation, it is the absence of goods and numbers that creates a new potential.
