The Locher site was about to be demolished and then redeveloped with residential properties. In the transition period, the buildings of the former Locher construction company were used as artists' studios. It was in this context that the exhibition to which I was invited came into being.

I moved 8 of 10 façade sample panels placed on the outer façade into the stairwell. There they were inserted into the 8 window openings, which they partially covered, so that from the outside the facade appeared to be closed behind the window openings. A continuous tensioning belt prevented the heavy, slightly inclined panels from falling down. They were all under the same tension. A cut would have brought them down in an instant.
