„Notes on Wilderness“ is an intervention in the course of agricultural management. The pruning of a winters time in the region produced heaps of branches which where collected and piled up to a wall in the arboretum. The bedding midst under the trees of this material, once capable to sprout, is now exposed to rows of fluorescent lights flanking the wall. The lines of light cut easiliy through the orderless thicket of the branches. Whereas the enlaced material was withdrawn from an ending point of growth, now other possible timelines develop in this suspension during summer and automn period. Native vines start to entwine around and trough the thicket, birds are searching for nesting sites or taking a hideout. If the period of storage was extremly extended in time, the process of decomposition would be unstoppable, whilst the ground would be already long-reoccupied by new growth. „Notes on Wilderness“ opens a temporal location where contradictory timelines connect.
