With the project Closed Season, a dislocated hunting stand had been covered by a magic hood, which made it invisible for radar detection from outer space. Earl King tries to mask this camouflage by distraction, as it is done with cover sheets for prototypes of the car industry - named Earl King. Disused cardboard boxes, which have come to the end of the consumption chain, are realised in aluminium as dead mould casting. These become capable of bearing and are tipping the fragmented single parts of the hunting stand out of balance. Through form and brightness they can distract from the original construction and function in the context of hunting.
Issues about sculptural form are questioned, as objects of far-off contexts and temporalities are brought together to build a relation. with regards to content and plasticity, it is impossible to define clearly origin and destination. A floating space comes about.
